Jared groaned as the sunlight from the nearby open window hit his face, he did not want to get up. Rolling over he went to pull his blankets up, his hand blindly reaching and instead he found nothing. Eyes snapping open annoyed he sat up but instead of seeing his normal sized bed sheets he sat just short of the edge of his covers. Standing up he found his feet sinking into the bed springs making him do a double take.

“What the fuck?” Panicking Jared tried walking forward only to lose his balance and fall off the edge. He closed his eyes as he screamed when he felt his coat hit something soft instead of the cold hard ground. Eyes now open he saw he landed on what looked to be someone’s hand.

“J-Jared?” Looking up Jared saw the hand belonged to now not so tiny Evan. Jared started screaming again as Evan set him down on the nearby dresser. “S-stop screaming! Please!”

“What the fuck? You’re huge!”

“And you’re tiny.”

“What happened? Why are you so…big?”

“I-I don’t know, I just w-woke up like this!” Evan played with his fingers nervously as Jared began to pace back and forth across his dresser. Jared’s phone alarm went off making both of them jump.

“We can’t go to school…like this!”

“B-but what about the test in Pre-Calc?”

“The test in…? That doesn’t matter, we need to fix this!” Jared gestured to his tiny height making Evan giggle slightly. Jared rolled his eyes when a bird came in through the window making Evan stop immediately.

“Jared, don’t move.”

“Evan it’s just a bird, now what are we-” Jared was interrupted by the feathered creature approaching him. “Woah, okay a little too close. Evan?” The other teen slowly made his way over to his friend when the bird squawked before grabbing Jared and flying out the window with the now screaming teen.

“Jared!”
