Anyway, this took a while to get to because 1) hands 2) I was working on something else when I got this ask, and 3) I had to ask my friends what Jared is saving him from because I had five different ideas.
Also, Tiny!Evan never got over his fear of butterflies, so Jared swoops in to save and comfort him. Once Evan calms down, he teases him about his fear to hide the fact that he actually cares about him.
