aksdjfhksdfjh okay, i still remember it despite the story not actually being that interesting and this was almost 2 years ago

okay, so i was still fairly new to DEH (as in i only knew the songs and read the synopsis on Wikipedia), but i still really loved it, that it was the only thing i was listening to for a while. i remember that i had to be grading something at the time (i had a group project for AP World that involved us having to review a certain unit in history, then giving our own multiple choice quizzes, SAQs, and LEQ to the class at the end that we had to grade). the reason i remember this is because i was bored while grading, took the copy of the answer key of the quiz that i had, and doodled on it.

it was the drawing that started this au.

at the time, i didn’t think it would develop into an au that over 750 people would enjoy, it was just a silly doodle that i found cute. i also remember that it was the first post i had featured on the DEH Amino, which kind of embarrassed me. but i honestly never thought it would be anymore than just a doodle.

i don’t remember if it was the next day or a couple days later, but i felt compelled to draw tiny!Evan again. i thought it would be funny with tiny!Ev telling Jared that he can’t just change the story of his and Connor’s “friendship” because Jared could just stuff him in his pocket and write whatever he wanted in those emails. once again, i didn’t think i would make more.

i was very wrong, due to the fact that tiny!Ev was about the only thing I wanted to think about for the next few days: his interactions with the characters, how it could affect the story, and just g/t in general tbh. after deciding that Heidi would be tiny as well (because I considered making tiny!Ev adopted) and the Hansens would live with the Kleinmans, i made this blog, developing it along the way, then made other aus based on this au because why the heck not.
